    Re: Anal

    ??????

Deep Funk is played at every eclectic night I've ever been too, never killed the party once :p

However same can't be said about MC5, Stiff Little Fingers and other dated punk bands :p

Your music taste is getting wobbely.

its basically like northern soul is rare soul, deep funk is rare funk... Snowboy and Keb Darge coined the term for the night I go to at Jo Jo's....

When people say funk you think james brown and the jb's - deep funk has more of a kick and is much more dance oriented (just like northern soul over soul).

I'll bring u through a cd on sunday...

I don't download I don't agree with it (awaiting another slating from a TRANCE or HH head), what comp's do you recommend?

The newest quality cd to get released is midwest funk - think its on jazzman. Texas funk its predecessor was dope on rope.

Favourite keb darge comp is keb darge experience. Although you might prefer soul spectrum (not northern soul)

Shadow is still the king of sourcing new stuff - so any of his cd's have swell gems.
