I shall put on a photograph of Robbie in his helmet, but as a worried mum who loves her children more than life itself - believe me this is not funny. How can a condition which can leave a baby deformed for the rest of their life be funny (I don't understand).

It can also have medical side effects. Problems with sight and jaw, dental & speach problems in severe cases.

Will try to attach a photograph of Robbie in his helmet for you!!!

It is too late for Robbie to benefit from any good which comes from this petition as we have already paid for his treatment. We had to fundraise to get the cash as I don't have that sort of money lying around (I WISH!!!).

Lots of other parents are less fortunate than us (we have lots of support from family & friends). That is why I am doing this - to help people less fortunate than ourselves.

Again, thanks for all your help. The petition is up at 1375 signatures and we are hoping to get 1500 by Friday midnight (when it closes). PLEASE PLEASE sign if you haven't already done so and if you can pass on the address to everyone you know.

i dont see how si said anthing remotely offensive? seemed like genuine questions to me and if you're being asked to support something its fair enough to enquire further.

the report post option is there if you dont like a comment, no need to call for someone to be banned. especially as FW has a record for harsh (but usually amusing) posts.

I am not going to sign a petition just for the sake of it if i dont know anything about the condition....just like I wouldnt give money to a charity unless I knew where my donation was going.
