Not really.......Ferry as you'd expect would get paid more than Hardwick, and im pretty Sure Scot Project gets more than Dewi and Aled,

I paid £10 on friday, and this is only £4 more, and possibly £1 more than a normal promise night and its on Boxing day.

Taxis are double fair.....so id expect djs to be getting paid alot more than they usually would....

Get a travel inn or something, as long as there's a fair few, the price shouldn't be a problem :D

It's all well and good saying "well its just £4 difference" but in all fairness, that £4 could make a hell of a difference in terms of the overall amount of people who go.

If you see something, for example, for a tenner, you think "great" but if that same something was £14 then you might not be so quick to take it up.

Shindig is never any more expensive than a tenner and its often £8 for Students, and its rammed start til finish every week!!

It's likely that most DJs will be charging more over the Christmas period, yet Shindig only puts its prices up for very special events, such as NYE.

I will still be there anyway I should think like :D

PS - Does Promise have to pay Foundation staff wages?

PPS - If it's double pay for everyone, then in theroy, couln't Promise be half that price on normal nights? :p

He is right though, there will be alot of people that see that price and think "ohhhh thats a bit steep, dunno if i should go" where as if it was a tenner nobody would think that at all, thats just the way people are :)

    Wrong.

Shindig charge more for Dj's like Sanchez, MAW, Solveig, Deep Dish, Satoshi, Derrick Carter, Sneak, Sasha, Digweed ect.

Admittedly, most of the time its a £10, but there has been lots of occasions when they have charged up to £15 for the bigger names.

We have Desyn Masiello on at WHQ on the day after Boxing Day for £7. This is a bank holiday aswell.

Thats my whole point......im not saying £14 every week is fine but prices go up on Boxing Day everywhere.....£14 for Boxing Nite is a fair deal IMO.

People were paying £18 on the door for Crasher Vandit night @ Heaven in London last weekend

and for that you got to see PVD (3hrs) Mark Van Lindern (2hrs) Nick Riley(3hrs)

i think thats quite a good price tbh
