    Heard a sample and they are an experience to be seen live.

    Pre Fade Levels.

    Look at any mixer and you will notice a log scale of dB's. These scales will have LED's going from green to yellow to red.

    The red lights are bad. The red lights are BAD!

    Red lights mean your levels are clipping, resulting in the headroom being compressed, which in turn means the sound output will be distorted and 'hissy'

    I've listened to a few CD's and all the sound levels have been way too high.

    Bear this in mind when you DJ or mix CD's.

    Green is good, red is bad.

    I can't stress the importance of this enough.

    Not My name, but the two lads who have put in the entry.
    Andy & Andy didn't have the same ring to it for them.

    Quite amusing watching them record it, they are very animated!!
    Hope they get thru as the have a floor show as well as mixing (Their own entourage of dancers, special lighting effects, etc...)

    I'll be there for comp if they get thru.

    just found out that the post office was only open half day today - woo!

    where can i hand it in tomorrow day time as i've never been to foundation when its light lol

    edit: my hard drive ran out of space when i recorded this aswell, missed out the best 2 mixes at the end aswell lol :cry:

    i always try to. its tough with my mixer and suing cds tho. cos it amplifies the pfl when you move fader up.......its annoying.

    My mixers a Korg Kaoss but its all Vestax parts except the Kaoss pad, I know what u mean about the faders.

    well and truly gutted!
    made a mix last night and micks computer crashed after we saved it. when we tried to get bk onto the computer we couldnt.
    keyboard didnt seem to be workin, so his computer must have had some sort of virus.
    ah well, shit happens.
    just hope theres another comp soon.
    wasnt really botherd bout winning. wouldnt have minded some feedback.;)
