After an evening of considering whether to even go out last night due to lack of funds....I'm glad I dedided too :D

It was a class night, top tunes and plenty of dancing :D Also met quite a few people who I haven't met before...erm, well OK...Blakey. But there were a good few people from the board out which was cool :)

Still think Spence looked like a yellow marshmallow with that t-shirt on ;)

Class night.....roll on November! (Saving up already!)

Fucking hell, I've never seen someone drink so much ... Spence, your liver's must be packing right up!!

I had a great night, mint night @ promise, and funny as fuck afters. How Geordie comes up with those cracks so quickly is beyond me, legend John :king:

Thanks to Martin, Cad + Smog for allowing us back

You've no idea mate. I don't even think Spence has a liver anymore.

Honestly Allie mate, in the space of around 5am - 1pm, Spence alone drank around 20 bottles of stella, and a litre of vodka + red bull.

When we went to Mik's after Promise a little while back, he dusted two bottles of vodka from dial-a-drink, then kept sending us across the shop for random alcopops, on top of all the stuff he drank at Promise/Vuzz.

The guy is a legend. He makes Oliver Reed look like an amateur.

I didnt mean that. But it just seems that more and more ppl are turning against him. And whats he done wrong?? He's worked at perfecting his mixing and doesnt scratch anywhere near as much as he used to. The goodgreef ppl love him and the girls love him cos he's cute.

    Get over it :tounge:

Eddie's mixing is fucking ace. Just his set structure has a little to be desired. Thats about it.

Tulip was amazing. Completely on form. Same goes for Mark Norman. The first few hours seemed to consist of some really fucking good Trance.

Then Haliwell came on with no structure and a bag of dull records. I remember Vinny coming over to me when a track was on and saying something along the lines of this music is fucking disgusting and I completely agree. It was possibly the most gash track I'd ever heard.

Then Gielen came on and played an equally dull set. He played one track which made me feel like my ears were bleeding. A few shit bootlegs too.

I still had a good night, but Haliwell wasn't half as good as last time and Gielen on the whole wasn't as good as I expected. Then again I spent a lot of the night trying to cool down in the Always room. Nu NRG - Dreamland (I think it was the Gaz Emery mix) sounded amazing in there.

Roll on 5 hours of Hardwick.

tis the british way! hype them, tell everyone how mint they are - and as soon as they're successful - knock them.

"he's gash" is a pathetic ignorant insult - i'm sure anybody who slates him would KILL to be where he is today. fair enough u don't like his tunes selection, his randomness, whatever - thats fair enough - but bashing for bashing sake is petty school yard shite.

i don't particulary like his style/tunes that he plays - but i don't constantly go on about it... grow up. it's the same for jules bashing.
