Milking every penny out of your popularity to the detriment of the scene. No wonder the small clubs struggle and new DJ's have a tough time breaking through...it should be up to people like Tiesto to lead by example and help make things better!

I dont begrudge anyone making cash for themselves, it wasnt that long ago Tiesto was playing midweekers in Newcastle.

I think new DJs if they have something about them rise quickly look at the likes of Shezza,Eddie,O'Bir,Foy,Mylo etc It wasnt that long ago these names were small names on flyers, now they are headliners at some gigs.

Me neither mate! But when you have to pay £20+ to go see your fav DJ it's the smaller nights that suffer. People can't afford to do everything and the likes of Tie$to and God$kitchen eat up a massive chunk of clubbers money.

This is true, but when you read stories about Cream(when it was weekly) having 250 to 400 punters in & having massive line-ups on, I bet none of the small club promoters in Liverpool were that upset with Cream losing a stack week in week out, they were more than likely pissing themselves laughing.

PVD is possibly THE most famous dj in the world, people know his name everywhere, whether they are from the dance music community or not...

tiesto isn't anywhere near this level and recieves most of his adulation from trance fans..

i don't think he will be worried by tiesto or 'jealous' of him in any way...

he can say what he wants, because, he's paul van dyk.

and thats coming from someone who neither likes trance or has any particular affiliation toward either of these dj's.

I have a lot of respect for Tiesto you dont get where he is by fluke, you dont sell out every gig if you shite, and you dont sell as many records as he does if you dont have talent... end of story
