Re: diplomatic craig B. since when did flyering to munters constitute knowing about music? flyering at that time of day suggests to me you're a mug.
No point getting upset cause a flyer boys griefed me. There just as important people as the rest of us, we all need roach. :chill:
Re: hail hail Your being highly hypocritical, your pulling me up for the one love thing yet ripping into this site and the scene most people on here follow. The problem with promoters like you and the whole 'underground' thing is that you all think you are owed something. The truth is you really want the large success and to be Dj-ing or promoting at the big events - just like what GK have achieved. Ps. I'd have a bounce to Henrik mucker.
there's simply never been a decent replacement... they were perfect.... flyers these days are too hard or too flimsy! /rant
Their are defo not enough HH lovers in Newcastle, in a way I think mark has done the best thing, think about how much money is being spent on entertaining a club full of charvas. Most of the charvs there dont even know who glazby, tinribs, karim etc... are.It really bugs me to see them take over the dance floor pushing us lot to stand around the sides, only to have some other charv MCing in ya lug when ever he gets excited at a banging tune. I think Mark should start a similar night to parlez-vous, in a secret location where you have to be invited!
hard house just doesnt work in newcastle? as its been said plenty of times before, theres just not the 'proper' clubbing scene up here that there is in leeds/sheff/etc..
My experience of Quality (ive been to everyone, and Promise hard) is that the 'big' names always pull the big crowds. Lashes, Savage, Lab4 etc can always pull a big crowd, the 'smaller' names like Amber D etc pulled a good crowd (atmosphere wise) but it probably wasnt big enough to justify running the night. Its a shame because Quality lineups are great for hard house fans, but it appears there just isnt enough in the local area. I think foundation is a great venue for hardhouse but the dance floor has often been less then half full. Promise nights will always pull more as trance is more tolerable even if your not a fan.
i reckon thats cos of the geography of the north east - theres not the surrounding towns and regional population that leeds / sheffield / brum / manc have... and the drinking culture doesnt help either...
These other areas don't have JimE dressed in cyber though, surely worth travelling the extra miles for.
^ this is true Craig! Mark - Cheers for clearing that up, this is quite sad as Quality was a good night but business is business, whats happening with Kerry and Mark m8?
Thats sad news, but Promse hard were excellent events, will any of the harder house dj's still be playing, Glazby etc?
Re: Re: hail hail I reckon the next detox will do quite well even tho the lineup isnt huge names !!! And if quality does come to an end it will be a shame but the atmosphere was never the same and by the last set the club was barely half full !! ..fidds..
