Quality could only work with the same big name DJs regularly playing. There are enough towns and places to fill clubs in the North East but people wont travel 3/4am finish unless it is a world class lineup. People from Berwick,Hexham,Darlington,Hartlepool, Spennymoor etc would come out for 6/7 or 8 am finish because the transport network is in place to get people home cheaply @ these hours.
Well very sorry to see Quality finish. Im from Darlington Area and haved travelled to every Promise and Quality since first finding out it was there Last September. And have been weather it was Lab 4 playin or Amber D. Waiting around train/bus stations is part of the fun but an after party usually does the trick Seen as I have never been to the old Promise hard nights, do the hard djs play as hard as they would usually or are they told to tame it down?? PS Well done mark seen you got yourself set in Tall Trees next month sure you will go down a treat thats if you was a little less hammered than you was At arena
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: hail hail Doubt I'll make it, I've got too many pre club bars and clubs with world class line ups to be seen at.
Re: craig B - quality humour I was only winding it up for a board ruck. What's the crack with the drunken boat? I stopped buying records and sold my decks due to other commitments. Things like that are very hard to put a price on, what's special to you isn't as special to somebody else. I'd say keep it.
Re: henrik larson meltstatic - I am sure had 1 of my mates play for you a few times, does the name Paul Forster ring any bells?
That still dosent answer the question at all Is Promise hard gonna be a new night? , if so how will it be different from Quality? Will Mark and Kerry be residents? If it all counts as Promise there would then be 5 residents for a monthly night, this would not work, they seem to be finding it hard putting all 3 residents on recently
