You're mind will make you think you're never going to quit and you'll be smoking forever. Don't listen to it, listen to the angel on your other shoulder.

    BE STRONG! :angel2:

im doing pretty well with this banter like, had a couple since new year, and to be honest they tasted minging and made me feel sick.

I was a bit tipsy last night when I went out for a meal, and ness smoked when we were in the car, and it smelt disgusting, didnt stop me kind of wanting one though

Its dead hard when the people around you smoke like.

I think im doing dead well considering all the stress im under at the min with uni work

    .......aaah that reminds me.....

well done everyone thats quitting - WE CAN DO IT!! WOOH

When I quit I started noticing how much smokers smelled. Me brother would get in my car on a morning and it was foul. Things like that help you quit because you realise you must stink like that all the time.

Im doing well on giving up since I had that cigar encounter like, not had a craving for another in ages! I think Im addicted to passive smoking tho, all the lads at work smoke and Ive noticed I hang around them on theyre tab breaks :(

Right, I've done 9 days now and today has been the hardest day but if I give in now I will feel like total shit and a failure so that's good incentive to keep going with it..........

9 days must be a bad place to be at then! The longer you stop the easier it is though, as the worse you will feel if you do start again. I think, anyway. Having said that, I have given up for 2 months before- twice and then started again. Both times at New Year, so I am going to be extra careful this March

I've gone from 20 a day to one or two a day for the last week or so. Cutting down was gonna be a test and cos I've done so well I think I'm gonna stop completely :D

I've tried loads of times before and have never managed, really hope I can do it this time
