It's weird with this news ... all the old tunes are kicking about my head today.

Can't get 'cross over' out my head.

Allthough we were opposite ends of the music scales to say the least, Ive always gotton on well with Uncle Tom and been on his radio show before. I got tricked him into playing a 250 BPM gabba record, heh.

A top bloke, always wiling to help anyone out and promote hardcore in Scotland and never turned his back on it.

We had a couple of short speeches on Saturday in Glasgow, once before my set and another before Hixxy's.
Quite emotional and a good crowd response.

M8 are planning a massive tribute event for him soon........

    RIP.

Tom Wilson was a top bloke.

Back in 1991, his Steppin Out Show on Radio Forth introduced me to the vast majority of my early dance music influences. I've still got a shoe box full of cassette tapes of the show!

Met him back stage at Rezerection when I was writing for M8 magazine in 1996 and he couldn't have been anymore down to earth. Unlike a few other UK DJ's and PA's I could mention.

He's going to be missed for who he was and for the love he had for dance music.

I'll reveal all in my warts and all autobiography.

I can say though that the Dutch DJ's were very down to earth. Ruffneck Alliance were top lads.
