    it is a shame yep.

im with dan on this one, priv was a bad idea.

the place has a shocking reputation because of all the scum down that end of town.

liquid would have been ideal if it could be done. a lot better crowd and that end of town is full of decent people rather than trash

but thats probably why - everyone expects it to be rammed with trash. so they give it a miss.

that end of town is a no-go zone for most ppl.

    damn right!

i expect liquid would be a no-no thought - place is rammed every weekend anyway so why would they risk letting anyone else run a night.

the point...now thats a huge venue - again tho doubt they are interested?

no-one is bothered about trance or any sort of dance music in sland.

    that is true.

the cheesy clubs do the job - thats what ppl want.

and because people from newcastle have such a fear of coming to sunderland, they wouldnt come thru for promise either.

The venue imo wasn't too bad.. The night woulda worked with a bigger crowd. I know that common sense.. but what I'm saying is that everything was  bar there being no crowd.

The music was awesome.. some tracks I haven't heard in a while..

    Drinks were cheap..
Was gonna leave early but decided to stay to see if it got better.. and I'm glad I did.

It just needs more people.. hopefully word of mouth about the music will make the next one more popular..

As for how many people.. as an esitmate.. probs between 50 - 80 ppl.. thats just an estimate though..

I bet Steve Helstrip got a shock, the place was rammed and absolutely rocking last time he was up.
