but on a weekend i hit the high street

i dont drink,and didnt wont coke (not cain)..so milk was another good option

I've been in quite a few times and not seen any trouble. I think it looks a lot worse than it really is.

Aye poeple getting stabbed in head with kitchens knifes and fight alarms in clubs are just folk making out a place is rough.

When i was younger and used to drink in consett on weekend it was normal to see battles involving up to 20 poeple on front street.

Do you reckon it is rough? There is gang of lads who play pool apart from that there not many other people in there.

The Monkey had it phase when Swordy was letting all the gangsters in, not a lot of violence but intimidating at times.

i suppose the grapes in hexham can be a bit intimidating if your not a local

Cut from the same cloth as the little charvers who wait until the doors close on the metro then start ripping into some massive chep on the platform who could clearly destroy them just as the train pulls away.

It is pretty nice in there actually, went in for a midweek bar meal and a couple of pints of Nelson last week. Got told to take my cap off and some people got turned away for wearing work gear (can never understand that). Heard it used to be a right shithole though.
