I've lived in the area for 27 years and I've lived in the town centre only a couple of hundred yards from the main street for nearly four years. It's really not that bad

The last time i was up there my mate was going to get glassed because a lass some charver fancied took a liking to him. Luckily the bouncers were on the scene quick enough. 20 seconds later and he would have seen the end of that bottle.

But like you say its a lovely place, i cant think of anywhere in tyne and wear that id rather live.

you're going back some ears for the lad juming off the roof. it was kudos when that happened...it trned into the biz when i was 16/17.

he was fucked off his face when he jumped...he thought he could jump & catch the pole & slide down it...he missed.

thee are people in onsett who have never been outside of consett. they do all their shopping there including xmas etc...sad bastards imo get out & live a little.

the main reason consett seems so bad is because it is so small. the town has a lot of different areas where head cases live...costa del has well costa del. & stanley is so shit they come to costa del too.
