Saddam Hussein gets Death Penalty

saddam deserves to die a painful death - yep.

although lets have a little bit of balance here - Our leaders Bush and Blair started the war in iraq and now hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in the name of 'freedom'..... try explaining that to a 5 year old girl staring at a red smudge in the ground that used to be her brother/mother/father that she is now 'free'.

As much as these gory videos make for gruesome entertainment and hey, ive seen loads - I dont think Saddam should be given any kind of fame extension by having his execution all over the net.

No punishment will ever fit the crimes he has commited.

If he believes in religion, which im sure he does given all his ramblings - then im sure he'll get a fitting 'judgement' whereever he goes. If theres no such thing as good for where he goes - then having his life cut off is a fitting end.

Being stuck in prison for 20-30 years will just end up costing tens of millions of pounds eh - and how ever many appeals and dredging up of the old facts for far too long.

Im a bit dubious about capital punishment - but in his case .... i think he deserves it.
