£14K with absolutely nothing else decent apart from a Christmas bonus if I'm lucky.

But it's continually rising while I qualify and bearing in mind I started off on minimum wage I suppose it could be worse.

I did 3 years at uni doing a BA Joint Honours in Childcare and Advice, Guidance and Counselling.

The only problem was that i was put on placement once and most jobs that interest me mainly look at if you have had any experience, which iv hardly any.

I'm a student who's been working non stop since I was 14 (almost half my life)

Rather than sponge off their parents, students should let them spend their hard earned money on themselves.....

... Im on not enough to cover all my outgoings.

Once loan, student loan, car loan, rent, car insurance, food, petrol and other bits and pieces are paid off ... it all goes very quickly.

You earn more down south - but with the people you end up being around and the lifestyle expectations .... just means it all goes just as fast.

One day ill actually save some money ... Ive never been so poor in my life!

I'm reasonably happy with my wage. Obviously I'd like to earn more, but who wouldn't.

I'm not very good at managing my money though

You're on 30k NOW? How you manage that one then?

I'm final year uni now....just working part time at the moment though.

I would expect to be on 18+ within a few years mind.
