   Yeah im gona do that to get it out the way like cos i dont fancy being emergency taxed forever in my new job , ive kept receipts for everything over the last 6 months !!

   no mate, thats CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
   
   your employer auto deducts 18% for your tax and sends a voucher for the amount, which allows you to `off-set` at the end of your tax year
