    ?

    it was new year....

    ..is'nt that his job?

are djs expected to play a load of new tracks each time they play and risk getting a bad reaction?

    R.I.P Anthems.

Is that a joke?? :spangled: So a dj is meant to play his guarunteed (however old) classics, just to do well in his set?

if he played them everytime he played, it would be a different story, but for a holiday, i think its fair enuf.

just to do well in his set? you make it sound like a competition, he was there to entertain ppl, thats what a djs job is... if playing a few anthems is such a bad thing, we're all fucked.

I dont think you see my point. It doesnt matter. But just to mention, when Marco V played at Trees not too long ago, he also played these tunes. Dont get me wrong, I love Indicator and Loops and Tings was good at the time, but he should really be doing other things by now. Anthem bashing - The easy way out

We're you on the dancefloor during this 'anthem bashing'?

...maybe we should start something to stop auld lang syne being played next new year... cos it would be too easy

if you we're standing, he wasnt bothered about you, if you we're on the dancefloor, and u and others didnt like it and walked off, he would care... easy ;)

I didn't like Marco V's "producers set" all that much. I'd much prefer a Ferry Corsten "producers set" ...

I didnt, we were talking about when he played at Trees :)

Yes this is true. But I dont rate Ferry much either :p And he does have more productions, so it has a bit more variety than Marco V's 3/4 tunes :)

 Why? Were they at it too? :p

What difference does that make? So I cant give my opinions on a dj or set because I wasnt there for one of them?
