Tiger I'm bored so I'll give you a quick education :D

    Economic Migrants

Economic Migrants are an essential part of most established western societies - without them big industry infrastructures could collapse.... For example without economic migrants there would be a skillset shortfall in the NHS, england simply can't provide enough doctors and nurses... So unless you want to cut off your nose to spite your face, these are essential to England.

There are a vast amount of bogus applications and some of these often get through - but a huge number dont

    Asylum Seekers

These are people who face persecution in their own country, they've often witnessed attrocities we couldn't imagine: gang rape, mass murder, etc. I as a human being would find it very hard to deny these people access to England.

    Homeless

Some have serious mental problems, some are homeless by choice, some by circumstances - but the vast majority don't possess the skillsets economic migrants have, nor have they been through the hardships asylum seekers have been through... So I find ti very hard to prioritise them simply because "they're british".

Thanks for the education as I well said I dont know much about the whole thing to start slaggin it all off..thats why I wanted peeps opinions like yourself to see how I can see the situation after some facts and otehr peeps opinions.

Yeah I agree to what you have put however the homeless that are homeless due to unforseen circumstances dont pocess the skillsets economic migrants have due to the fact they dont get a chance too and I dont considerate that as from choice....

The question is though Why would they be a skillset fall in the NHS, why cant we provide enough Doctors and Nurses?? The Government should be asking themselves that? IMO it comes down to the costs involved in UNI etc peeps just conat afford to do it! It all ties together really! (or maybe im wrong!! )

    :)

People can't afford uni? Do we live in the same city I'd say over half this messageboard are uni students!

People chose not to go into these industries because they don't want to (pay's poor doesn't interest them, work doesn't interest them, training doesn't interest them, etc.)... Why should we give doctors six figure pay packages when we can pay a lot less for foreign help? If we were to put more money into wages/training other areas would suffer (education, policing, medicine, etc.)

Yeah thats why footballers should get more than nurses as they do a far more critical job....how many footballers can save someones live do you know! So nurses wages etc suffer due to the money footballers get really! It all doesnt make sense in my way of thinking.....

Yeah I agree we can play less as we can get foreign help fair enough I value what you said there IM not here to arguee against it just its intresting to get other peeps points of view and some of the times it makes me change my opinions....

BUt if we werent paying terrible wages to people like footbaleers etc then maybe the nurses, docs could get that wage and then peeps may be intrested!
