oh that's ok then, thought u were getting fucked off with all the raving about that Shindig's had on here lately.

Where's Sankeys fit in that list?? Seems to have very similar DJs to Shindig and never heard a bad thing about the place?

Ok, so what you're saying is people only go out once a week and live for Promise so they should only go to Promise and don't talk about anywhere else.

Promise isn't the beginning and end all in peoples lifes.

Other boards don't have a problem with it, so why does it have to be any different on here?

Some people might not always DARE speak out about things that's wrong with this board and Promise, but you can't stop people thinking it and some things are a joke, like this for example

its always been like this on here though...

pretty much nothing negative is hardly ever written about promise by the regular users of the board. if a newbie comes on and says sumit bad about it they are attacked straight away for having an opinion.

suppose its good in a way though cos it shows the club has got a solid loyal following

You've just said it's wrong for someone to have an opinion

Just because someone may be a 'newbie' to the board doesn't mean they know nothing about clubbing, they may well have been going to Promise for a long time, so why shouldn't their opinion be counted as much as anybody else on here.

I must have got it wrong, I thought the whole idea of a message board is to get across to other people your opinions, good or bad, I must have got it wrong, having an opinion must be bad.

If people arent allowed tp voice their concerns about something, then how is the club suppose to make things better and change the bad things, and Im sure there are bad aspects, every club has its bad points.

Stopping people voicing their opinions Promise or otherwise gives a very bad mpression of the management for running a message board is a ridious and extreme way.

You may beable to discourage some people not to talk about certain things on this board but you cant stop people thinking it or talking about it away from the board, and at the end of the day people will go where the hell they like, it's called having the freedom, not like this board

i didnt say it was wrong for people to have an opinion, i think u have misread what i was saying. i was actually agreeing with you.

ive been on the board since the beginning and ive always said, if there was something that i didnt like about promise and this has got me into trouble a fair few times.

it used to be much worse before, about what u were allowed to talk about, and talking about other clubs but it seems to have calmed down alot now

What the fuck are you on about Shaun, you're slagging off the promise site again for no apparent reason. I'm not telling you not to talk about other clubs and neither is Mark.

Maybe, Maybe not, but it certainly gives the impression to joe bloggs that Mark doesn't like people talking about any other club other than Promise, people don't always get inhouse jokes and how things are said

How do you explain the post about Crasher just last week when Mark kicked off because people were talking about Crasher, that's right you can't. He got the hump about people talking about another club
