Totally agree with that, I think its because there arent as many places to sit and chill and chat to randoms like there was in Foundation.

I am still split in 2 minds to be honest i think shindig has changed on a whole i can remember ppl shitting it outside incase they didnt get in coz of they way they dressed etc but now it is run like a business not a hoby which if you look at how much money they must of made then no wounder. If i had to choose digital or foundation there is so many things that were good in one and not in the other.Digital has brought shindig and newcastle clubs into the 21st century but it just hasnt got that underground wharehouse feel that foundation had so i am slit

Well there are some interesting points being raised.
Im obviously going to say I prefer digital to foundation to any day as does every dj we’ve had play. Pretty much every DJ has commented on how similar it is to foundation only the sound is 100 times better and it’s not a shit hole.
For me it still has that industrial feel and I defo prefer the fact we have a good second room where we can put up and coming exciting guests….I love playing up there.
I can see the point about seating though it is a tad sparse on the plus point though the large main bar is great imo…..it separates the club into two creating a drinking hanging about area and a dance area.

Im actually in the process of putting together quotes from DJ’s for our web site and every single person I’ve spoke too have all said how impressed they are ….lets face it if we’ve got people like sasha and lawler raving about the place then some thing has been done right.

Apparently the club was the talk of Miami and I’ve had several DJ’s call me to ask for a booking after talking to Behrouz, lawler and sasha…….. at foundation certain DJs said they could never get into when playing and only liked playing there because it was shindig in fact sasha said he would never play there again because the sound was so bad.
That was the final straw for us.

    Foundation boo!!!!!!!! Viva digital!!!!!!!!

Seriously though everyone is entitled to their opinion

I loved the foundation vibe though

...even though it was a shit hole

digital just doesn't have that vibe thing, but maybe that's just me being past clubbing really

Digital - Theres not enough Dancefloor space it seems! Whenever you try and dance you can guarantee someone will be wanting to walk past or a big group of people. I know it sounds silly but it just seems everyones on the move all the time (me included! )

I dont like the little table things round the edge of the dancefloor.

I love the look of the club its self though really, its mint, but what Jess says, I feel like I dont connect with any of the clubbers there which I hate!

I duno about the thing said about coke and pills, It seems to me without fail theres usually a big group of lads enduring in a facial gymnastics competition at the front of digital whenever I go! Were talking about Shindig though n I dont go there often.

I think it may be to do with drugs though, and also peoples attitudes have changed I think a lot.

Nail on head there like Jess, same goes for me.

I am used to Digital but I still don't feel the vibe that Foundation used to have....perhaps I have just been to the wrong nights.

Angello & Ingrosso and Oscar G were awesome nights though, but at Foundation EVERY time i went i would leave thinking....amazing.

Im sure that will return :D
