I don't know if anyone else is in the same boat but I've found I enjoy nights in smaller venues a lot more than in larger ones - not least because a tightly-packed small venue is easier to get across than a large venue. There's only certain artists who suit the main room - I'd imagine if barbara tucker had been doing a PA in the always room when promise was on there would have been more people and prob a more intimate atmosphere... I would have definitely had a look in for that. The promoting is the other point - I hadn't even realised Phil Asher was on. Soulheaven or whoever promotes for them needs to raise their game.
Yeah its all about bringing in people that havent played in town before .... Thats what Im doing with these nights in Swindon, only booking names that havent played here before. No one wants to see the same DJs all the time ZZzzzz! Theres more than enough DJs out there to keep it fresh nowadays!!!
Fuckin hell, you lot are totally incapable of having a decent conversation without turning it into a bitching (and looking down your noses) match

textbook I dont know but I started being seriously interested in dance music when you were 7 and I started going to nightclubs when you were 11 so please dont try and give it the large one
A man takes his girl friend out, and they are just about to make out for the first time in their relationship, (THEY ARE NOT VIRGINS, its only the first time with each other)... anyway, he goes down to give her a head job......just before he begins he makes the following remark.... Guy: My you've got a big pussy. My you've got a big pussy. Then she says, " Why did you have to say that twice?" He answers, " I didn't that was the echo"
Touchy tonight. Take another prozac. When people talk about how long they have been clubbing for or 'in the scene for' is like blokes talking about how many burds they've shagged.
I was actially talking about the scene not being what it used to be, but nevermind Strangely enough Im involved in the industry in every way, thats how I make a living so I would hope I know a thing or two about it
