I go 40 on the streets on the way home from work at like 2am. Obviously some drunk could step out at any time but who gives a fuck, he's drunk, I'd just drive off cos no way would he remember my registration number.

I like to get to where I'm going as fast as I can, so I'll speed along blissfully unaware of schools or anything else that might slow me down. How the fuck do you know where primary schools are anyway?! I can just about remember where I used to go and that's the only one i know!

Who reads signs in this day and age?

I need glasses but havent got any so I cant see them until I'm right next to them. I've nearly crashed a few times because of it but I like to live life dangerously.

Can take up to 6 weeks for the papers to come through the door.

My mam got done doing 42 in a 30 a few years back....£60 and 3 points.

You may well get more than that mind as it's pretty way over the limit....could take you to court.

Not only would you have to resit your test but you would also have some sort of ban.

The usual penalty for an SP30 is 3 points and £60 fine. If you're way over the speed limit the fine and points could be higher. That mostly happens with motorway speeding though

It would probably only go to court if you deny it. It's probably not worth the hassle of trying to deny it. Insurance companies don't look down on one minor speeding very seriously.

If you're bothered about losing your licence for getting 6 points there's a simple solution :p

Best answer by far! Less is more. You are, or have done car insurance? The SP30 reminded me of my days @ the AA,with 'Insurance standards council' routine.

I hate those damn vans anyway, proper money makers.

I remember a while back...a road next to mine was 60mph for like 14 years (more in fact), then it got changed to 40, with no warning at all, no notices etc....

The very same day the police were hiding in a side road and dishing out speeding tickets, must have raked it in. slime.
