i had hardcore and house pounded into my head from a v young age by my bro, then moved onto stuff like tdv when he was developing his harder sound, then hard house, an then trance an i've like both of them in various amounts for a good few years now. i like a bit of techy stuff too...

more into my hh lately tho (last few yrs)

started out with the oldskool stuff like altern8 and prodigy, sl2 etc etc, then i got into hardcore and jungle for a long time

i used to hate colloseum style stuff and moved into gabba pretty bad, (still got loads of smurf and loft groover tapes  ) then i moved back towards happy hardcore, and sum of that inteligent drum and mass (bukem and co) the regga style jungle was dropped, and it all went a bit cheesy as the happy hardcore sound got pushed about a lot (brisk and dougal etc etc) started getting board with that stuff when it was crossing over to the afterdark style stuff, i bought my decks at this point but i had been collecting records scince i was listening to stuff like "dj scott - do you want to party", started trying to get back into the happy hardcore sound but i couldnt find any records for sale as aperntly it was dieing

i walked into reflex in the town and the bloke in there said to try the spanish stuff, liked a few of them tunes so i started collecting them and then i got into the makina stuff, ive got loads of older makina records, but instead of slowley phaseing out like all the other genres, one day i just decieded that i really hated it and looked for sumthing else, found hard trance/trance and hard house and have stayed there ever scince with me being biased towards the trance side of things.

i like most stuff now except that bouncey shit and house music, i like that drum and bass stuff thats knocking about now as well, the birds got a few andy c mix cd`s and there pretty good imo
