Ive always been, quite fanatically, into dance music for as long as my memory stretches. Naturally my tastes have slowly matured over time. Used to like all the big n obvious tunes on Ministry CDs but dont get anything from those same tunes now.

I now really appreciate tunes that I would have just shrugged off as being 'boring' in the past. Im now liking very particular production sounds in tunes now - basslines which drive the tune forward, dreamy vocal snatches, layered production, soothing chords etc etc. The tune has got to build and evolve for me as well - fuck all these 10 minute 'beat tool' type efforts.

And although ive always liked them, I now think Layo & Bushwacka are the best thing since sliced bread. As far as there productions go, nobody else even comes close for quality. Its a pity there are very few other producers who make tunes anywhere near as good as theres or I would be laughing.
