Whats the procedure with "Not Known At This Address" returns?

Trace agents.. We (solicitors) send them instructions which consist of a name and a last known address and they report back to us after a while with a current address.

Attempt to find a new address.. if you can't be traced though there's not much can be done.. if various documents can't be served on you there's not much progress can be made.

Personal service could be attempted though. Watch out for knocks on your door.

I never ever ever answer my door unless i know whi it is& I surgest you kids do the same.

Theres not a lot anyone can do if you dont anwser your door! If its important you will always get a letter which is more important in the eyes of the law anyway.

Fact: If the pigs come a knocking and you answer the door to them then refuse to help them with enquires they xan then arrest you and enter your kip. If you dont answer your door theres fuck all they can do except get a warrent (this is rare in pre-arrest). which can take months. Most people are arrested after answering the door to the fuckers. They are a bit like Vampires DONT INVITE EM IN.

If you have paid off all your debt though after a few months your credit rating starts to build up again

Jill> Do you know anything about CCJ's? How do they work seeing as the debtor can just be a "name" with no Personal info such as Nat Insurance etc etc known by the chasing company. So how can a CCJ be linked to just "a name" or does it just mark the property as a high risk property?

Think the property is linked.. I probably should know but I haven't started college yet.

In our cases a Judgment is just a necessary step to a Charging Order on the property so we don't concentrate on the Judgment.

all the networks use EQUIFAX for credit references, your score will sort itself out if you pay everything on time for about 6 months m8.
