Get over it, Im glad Armin's won, Woooo! :D

PVD does deserve to win, for his productions and so on, but maybe he'll get in next year?

    Go Armin!

I agree you can barely distinguish ASOT episodes from each other cos they all sound the same. 20 or so tracks and theres only ever about 2 that stand out and that are memorable.

Marco Vs productions and sets this year have been unbelievable!! And Ferrys Sets stand out way more than Armins imo!

PVD does amazing in these to be fair because he doesnt have a popular weekly radio show or a big PR team and still gets to number 2.Someboy

Hope PVD beats armin to it, but if he doesnt i'd much rather Armin take it than tiesto AGAIN. Armin wont be far short, Armada in ibiza has been huge this year aswell as him having his own tent at dance valley, been a good year for him.

Id say reflections was pretty cheesy too to be fair, granted it doesnt have the supersawy cheese effect that shivers does but reflections is chock full of vocal tracks that i dont see being too much different.

The reason it looks like armin is just playing general trance that everyone else plays is because every other bedroom dj out there is trying to emulate him.

as for DJ Mag readers being more educated, sadly that isnt going to be the case.

PvD does have a popular weekly radio show ;)

*Disclaimer* im not saying im pro armin, not be any stretch of the imagination just dont think any of the big 3 are all that special.

I think people are forgetting that this is a top DJ poll not a top producers poll, yous are all putting too much weight on productions. Fair enough if your productions mean that you play better sets but its not judged on how good an artists album is, its about how good their sets are, or at least it should be, thats how i voted anyway.

These poll's are shit, noone acually votes for the dj they think has been best this year, they just vote for their favourite dj. Whether we like it or not the top place in djmags top100 is gonna be a trance jock, id like to see pvd get it out of the top 3, but tbh i dont think any of them deserve to be near the top. :)

yeh i know its all down to personal opinion but i think armins boring, pvd's had a pretty poor year till very late on, and tiesto can't mix, these poll's will never show whos the best dj, just which scene is bigger :)

but since when has the top100 dj poll been about who can pull the biggest crowd? The best dj should be about whos the best dj, not production, not who pulls the best grin for camera shots, it should be about who can pull out the stops behind the decks. the top 100's a piss take hense why i voted for streetboy

your right about the rock scene tho its a total differant crowd, they're far more into the music than those from the dance scene, i've seen class turn-outs for local bands in shitty little pubs over Newcastle, no way could a local trance/house night pull the same ammount of people.

Yeah but how many mosh types actually are there and how many of them are completely clueless and doing anything for mates.

I could rattle off a list of clueless cunts like that from our school.
