What that dude said, I've hardly been listening to trance recently, it's nice to hear a good trance set after listening lots to other genres. I just can't stand hard trance though :(

The driving trance sound is the best with euphoric moments thrown in - maybe a touch of psychedelic. Basically what 00 Fleming plays. Don't like when its just one similar breakdown after another that sometimes happens at places like crasher.

Trance is amazing... as long as its not too floaty, proggy or serious! I like it driving and euphoric.... nice base lines! ;)

there's a definate shift at the minute to really good trance. i've seen it as i'm getting sent less commercial shite and more quality music. the push mix of ian van dahl "i can't let you go" is suprisingly good, and tiesto's "traffic" is simply mind blowing.

LMAO @ ppl "jumping on the HH bandwagon"
People jumped on the HH bandwagon in 2001, and then every one said it was shit, the scene died down and went underground, and now it's back, better and stronger

a load of people on here hav always loved their trance but hard house became the "in thing" to love and obsess over so the majority of people (and i dont mean on the board as such just in general) jumped on the bandwagon n started favouring that instead of trance. promise has hardly been ditched it just wasnt pullin the crowds every week and even when class trance dj's were booked, people just werent coming to see em, well obviously people were but just not as much as they'd come 4 a big name or a hard house nite. promise has hardly disappeared has it??!! and quality hasnt taken its place its simply catering for all thos out there that love hard house. xxx

    bingo ;)

i love proper trance, and i love proper hard HH, but anything in between (hard trance etc) i find annoying - it has neither melody nor hardness.
