People usually aren't meant to be on the stage a lot of dj's find ti distracting...

And with it being my 3rd time @ Promise im gonna say no to someone asking me to go out the back ?? Yeah fucking right !!

Because u drive a DJ to Promise does that mean ur "special" - your not all that my friend im sorry to say.....

I agree with what you say at the end and like i said before because it was my 3rd time there i thought i might as well go and see what happens behind the scenes as such !

Ohh and by the way i think the VIP treatment must be lost in the post coz all i was given was a seat !

I've out growned "smart e" and smartie is far 2 pretentious for me

Roz already does this and even with some1 as big as me backing her up - getting them to leave is a right handful.

As Ive said talk to the club manager, tell him how he could arange the room use the space to its full potential, get a few fridges in full of beer for people who do nothing for the club...

Basically if some1 comes with the dj they're entitled to go back stage

It doesn't matter if some1 is special, important or the fucking queen... If they're a guest at promise, promise usually look after them... this is never done pretentiously... i personally think promise handle their guests in very profesional and respectful manner....

2 be honest I think paint would uin it - think the hanging fabric makes it looks quite swish when its pristine clean

I puked behind the sofa a few years back, sloped out before Leon caught me and made me clean it up.

It was a friend of Matt Hardwicks and to be honest when i was there Mark didnt throw me out for not having a pass !

I would say i was there for 5 minutes if that and as anyone who goes clubbing knows theres no point to just go out and sit down all night is there !

She never stayed in long - I can vouch for that

As for mark not throwing you out - he's not there to play doorman keeping on top of who should and shouldn't be there is a nightmare. Promise have tried everything: security coded locks, vip passes, doormen - but people always get through... it happens in every club - everywhere you go you get blaggers...

With a doorman/door whore maybe things will change...

anyone for a slice of atmosphere in this thread, there seems to me a strange sense of importance about some members of this board. it's a piece of piss to blag into the back room anyway, dunno why you would want to go in anyway. there is fuck all there but a leather seat. would rather be in the main club than stuck in a tiny room with DJ drivers, security staff and a few hangers on.

Ok, it's a nice club - great atmosphere, good DJ's and the back room is fucking lush! That better?

Get mark to cancel Matt's next gig and use the money to do the room up.. Or maybe use the production money to get just the right shade of terracota for the room...

Here we could be on to a whole new club experience here.. No DJs no lights or PA system. Just plush back rooms while the club sits in darkness with no music!!!

What Im saying is maybe you should have a word with the people who actually own/manage the venue rather than guys who run a club in it. And I think you should just read your first post then you might realise how anal it actually is....
