As far as people living in caves and us imposing our belief system on them.... well that's not the case. You only have to look at Japan for a good example of how culture has changed to a western one without invasion or religion. However, isn't it true to say the Muslim world would like to see their way of life imposed on the majority, whether they want it or not.

My point is that we're dealing with a less than modern culture that has been kept in its place not by the west, but by its own clerics. It's the usual story of the minority keeping the majority in its place with rhetoric, religion and fear.

We never attacked them they attacked us. OK, people might not like the way the Arabs have been exploited for the natural resources, but if they had a more established better organised culture and not some ancient tribal culture going on, then they would not feel so aggrieved. And we’ve never stolen oil from them, we’ve bought it.
