You might be right .... this evening i sported a plain black belt with a simple silver buckle to the pub. And went bare headed to boot.

The end is nigh for this old codger. My jump suited days are behind me.

The ******** board was a hilarious example of how any kind of 'off the cuff' banter could absolutely and completely run out of steam after the "how many wanks/shags/drugs have you had" threads had been posted and answered.

It proves message boards need a little more substance to keep going. Which is the reason everyong is BACK on the main forum again.

When I moved into my house 3 years ago I could come on here at work. I then changed jobs and couldn't come on at work anymore. I still came on when I was at my parents house but I was only ever there occasionally. I was never away from here completely :D

it's no wonder Rob is considering jacking it in...with the miserable shits who post of this sites death or it being closed.

Rob puts a lot of time & effort into this place & people should respect that... he doesn't have to but does so we can have a place to chatter, banter, take the piss etc etc

theres generally going to be people who you don't like...use your ignore button or don't read their posts...simple..

most people on here have matured a bit, shame you's didn't learn respect when you's did...

now stop being so fucking whingey & moaney...most of you's are moaning more than a boro whore..

if you's don't like it, fuck off...

I just get tired of people harping on about the olden days, good posters have come and gone - but the banter on the whole has been very cyclic.

I remember when sleepy and co first joined - they made ********** look tame :D

I prefer to revel in my inner geek. It does fuck all for my professional life, but I'd still hate to see the board go.

    touche'

All im trying to say is that a better mod policy with relation to pointless threads might do this place some good.

How about a 'the gutter' board where all the back biting or other 'questionable' threads get moved to ... kind of like the ******** board but under a different name - so anyone who wants to read that stuff can.

When some of the more intelligent people start making a vocal point about this board going down the pan.... i reckon they need at least a listen.

It was his idea because I think like most of us with half a brain can see this place has turned into one enormous winnit.

It's an internet site with a messageboard software license, Rob probably spends more time brushing his teeth on a morning than he does keeping this place in check in a year.

    Get a grip.
