basically because there is nothing stopping anyone opening a private members club that doesnt sell alcohol. all you need to open one is a check by the fire service to see that your fire doors are in order etc

its been going on like that since I was about 16 many moons ago, between the venue, colloseum, aterdark and the monkey..... they keep getting closed down or burnt out for insurance jobs then they open up in a new place and it all starts again......... unfortunatley! there like cockroaches.

One of the lads at work is going to be gutted. Might final get him away from that scene and into going down Shields or something now!

Lol apparently Escape down sheilds is going to have "The Hanger" nights occasionally , its just re-opened and is rnb on fridays and supposedly House nights on a satda ( with Alex P and Lisa pin-up due to play soon :spangled: )

aye fiddler is right. the rumour is that escape in shields is having a hanger night on the last friday or saturday of every month.

i dunno how likely that is.. cos ya know how gossip spreads but im shitting myself cos its only 2 mins from my house

i work for the hangar in room 2 playing hh and trance,the escape night club in shields was suppose to go ahead two weeks ago under the name velocity and i must say that it wasnt a hangar night but a new night with different promoters,but the police said it would cause to much conflict with other clubs in the area so they kindly asked for it to be cancelled,according to the manager..whilst in a headlock...lol...so it looks like it wont go ahead at all..

I didnt think it would of worked very well in shields town centre like , cos u would of had the regulars out and then a bunch of scallies as well once a month or so which wouldnt of mixed very well !!!

So is it still the owner of the hanger thats running escape then ??

the promoters are a couple of lads from the west coast as the club they run is owned by the same people, all i do know is that scott the owner of hangar 13 was asked to provide some djs for the night.acording to scott it wasnt going to be chav music {makina} it was going to be scouse house {mmm},hard house and trance...thats all i know...

it doesnt close till 7 am any way, i dont think its very good news, coz instead of them all bein there theyl be on the streets, and in the places we drink. not all of em like coz a dont think wearin a "spray way" in town will get u far
