No probs, Garnier is wicked, have you got his excess luggagge 5cd set? One of my favourite compilations, bit of everything on there...
Love it I'm the same as aaron, don't know alot about it! I've started buying techno with some guideance from a mate, and i'm hooked! I'd say my fave dj is Kanzyani! He was awesome a Trees B2B with Umek. Then @ UFreak in edinburgh he was the business! Also a fan of Liebing and Riccardo Ferri. My fave production atm would be The Return of the Evil Dick Ninja - Marco Nastic ep I'm still learning
Good point I like Plastikmans album Consumed which is veeery slow and some of Jeff Mills stuff is'nt fast or banging. But i also like DJ rush and Pet duo which is at the other end of things.
Re: The Techno thread love it fave djs, cox, clarke, mills, rush, ignition technician, mistress barbara, lekebusch, hertz, kanzyani fave producers lekebusch, kanzyani, sims, umek, ignition technician, hertz, beyer etc labels, relooped fave set carl cox b2b jeff mills, mistress barbara @ dr slump i like good techno atomic jam should be on more regulary
Re: Re: The Techno thread Continue your education on the 27thaug with me :- Surgeon Not heard any ignition technician before, any good? Heard a couple of Mistress barbara sets and ive got an adam beyer vs cari lekebush set which is mint.
Every time I've seen mistress barbara, she's just played the sort of set i'd expect fergie or someone to play. Ignition technician's canyn good. Some of his productiona are decent too
Re: Re: Re: The Techno thread Surgeon couldn't be any more different (in a good way) to most of the names (lekebusch, kanzyani, umek, ignition technician, hertz, etc, etc ) that are being mentioned in this thread.
Re: Re: Re: Re: The Techno thread I know what you mean,i chucked some of his old albums on the other night and his stuff is very unique. Basictonalvocalbulary is from 97 but still sounds mint to me Defo gonna try and go see him on the 27th,never thought he'd be on up here
