the tories show they're ready to lead a government...

the tories did it - no doubt about it.

BUT.... labour entered power, Gordon Brown promised 'no more boom and bust'

..... then let everything BOOM while patting himself on the back for his 'prudence'. The loose regulations on the financial industry were perfect for labour who could sit back and collect huge increases in stamp duty, VAT etc etc .....

...... 11 years later and everything is going tits up, and labour are now losing elections to the Green party and the BNP.


I dont like the tories either, but its quite funny just how labour seem to have this uncanny knack of leaving every period of office with the country in tatters
