Or was it that they suddenly realised the magnitude of what they had done and subsequently tried to cover it up? We'll never know.

If Thompson and Venables had been adults when they'd committed this crime I'd agree with you.

Like I've said before, they weren't old enough to understand what they were doing. The way in which they went about the whole affair shows this.

If they grabbed James Bulger solely to murder him, why would they wander the streets of Liverpool with him for nearly 3 hours in plain view of the general public before they actually killed him?

Have a read of this and see what you think.

Also, why do you keep refering to this as making you better positioned to comment on the issue?

If anything, it would cloud your judgement.

You do realise that your constant cliche working class outrage/face value attitude to everything makes everything that comes out your mouth sound completely thick and null, don't you?

Well if a one off event like this could entirely change someones opinion, then do you not think that over 10 years of growing up (a large amount spent as a shame ridden fucking child) could also change someones (his killers) opinion.

I just highly doubt that they both happened to enjoy mutilating babys and plan to do it in the future, imagine being in the position now whereby you'd done something over ten years ago which you completely regretted and opposed. You'd just have to deal with it, I don't think a mob of 40 year old pikeys who do infact quite fancy killing someone is going to really help the situation.

As if you copy and pasted that to all your friends, you're one of the most superficial people I've ever came across.

I can just imagine words like OUTRAGE or NATIONAL TRAVESTY floating through your head in a constant loop whenever you read the tabloids.

There are galleries in the courtroom for public and press to sit in during the trial

You don't have to be an internet researcher, it has been published by David James Smith in his book about the case and in The Times
