Theres people from all sorts of crowds there? Just depends on the DJ to the sort of crowd they pull.

Everybodys just competing with each other (nobodys there for the music cos its the same tunes every week but in a different order). To say hello to people in Stonelove/Bulletproof is seen as speaking to the enemy. The lack of drugs doesnt help either.

i had a really good time at the last bulletproof of last year, but have been many times before and it has a tendancy to be full of fat lairy tossers...

He may not of done this so called "selling out" but how much did he charge Promise for a DJ set?

Is it only trance DJs that cash in? Do prog DJs not rinse as much out of clubs as they can?

Sasha rinses promoters for everypenny & now ukclubs haven't got the dosh he mainly does non-uk dates.

You prog fans are so funny, when Sasha & Diggers were voted top of the pile in the DJMAG Top 100 DJs, them awards were GOSPEL! Then the European trance boys started winning & now they mean nothing.

what would the door fee be if tiesto or van dyke where to play promise this year?

sasha was only £15 (im pretty sure) - i dont consider that an exuberant price all things considered...

PS Thomas from what I gather the VAT paid on booking Sasha was more than Promise pay to book some DJ's

Noone ever said he doesn't charge a lot but a lot of people would feel he is better value for money since he has a lot of talent

when he played Shindig it was £15 which is a lot but hardly rare - Van Dyk,Tiesto,Van buuren,Digweed,Deep Dish,Morillo etc so he can't be charging much more than these people

What am i gonna do? my mate the one in question at the begining of the thread kinda likes music that is only 100bpm+ and i can see us traveling all the way down there and putting a downer on the whole night this has only becaame a problem he has been speaking to sum of my kids mates who have gave him the impression it'll be just boring house!!

Did he not used to be a DJ motorway slag doing 3 or 4 gigs a night? I think he only stopped doing that when he started getting more cash for doing "4 HOUR EXCLUSIVE SETS"?
