I've read before Tiesto costs 15, I'm not sure of the truth in that.

As for Morillo - there were at least 400-500 people outside that never got in willing to pay the £15. Does it justify it? Maybe not, but it's supply and demand.

I suppose they charge different amounts depending on where they are. Big festivals and Ibiza will be bigger fees than for clubs

Sasha lost it about 3 years ago.

The fact that he is still playing Cowpander says a lot.

Not like Diggers who has continued to push new sounds.

Saying that, I think ADD is cool.

Most nights are run with the promoters paying for use of the club, all promotional material etc plus the DJ fees. The club gets the payment for the use of the premises and the bar take.

About 3 times in the last 3 years, have also heard plenty of live sets and tracklists

Cowpander was maybe ok for novelty value when he first started playing it 2 years ago, but to still be playing it now is a joke.

Still I think he might pull something out of the bag for his new GU series.

He's re-editing all of the tracks that he's playing on the CD's so they should be pretty special:)

seen him loads of times, from places like Gatecrasher 2000GC and the Republic to Space in Ibiza. He's gone a bit stale, Darkdrums is right as Diggers has made more ground, pushed new sounds. Airdrawn Dagger is class, but his DJ set's all sound the same to me. Don't get me wrong Sasha has always been at the forefront of dance music, one of the first serious Dj's.....But he's lost his appeal to me, let's hope the new GU changes my mind.

Why has he bored you of late?? What sets are you talking about??

Some of his recent mixes has been the best stuff he has done and I have been a big Sasha fan since about 97.

Admittedly he struggled for a year or so and played the same sets repeatedly on the circuit but you can't say that about his creamfields, glastonbury, guvernment or mondaybar sets. It's now the cool thing in prog to say Sasha's stale and Diggers is pushing new sounds.

What new sounds is Diggers pushing that Sasha isn't? Sasha brought us JZ and his own interpretation of breaks, Diggers and co brought us Bedrock brakes. There on a par and always have been. The same people that are saying he's stale will be saying he's GOD when the GU mix comes out and the Global underground community say he's cool again.

Bah, bah, bah ... fucking sheep.
