I feel I must apologise to myself, you, Deep Dish, and everybody else on this planet, for not mentioning them sorry you are right they are wicked but never seen them can't wait till they're at shindig!!! Chemical brothers - also agree different verybody else, really wana see them as well!!!
deep dish truly are the dogs! seen em twice b4, i couldve listened to em all day, i like em that much. july 12th is gonna be heavily marked in the diary! chems are wicked as well, saw them live a few years ago, and they were awesome!! best track of theirs? life is sweet or sunshine underground
Old and new banging (proper) Hard House none of this namby pamby HH that every1 seems 2 be loving at the moment, which is infact mostly hard trance! I like music that is dark dirty and evil!!!
not sure mate, when i saw them it was a full live set, playing their own tracks if i remember rightly, it was the surrender album that had just come out when i saw them!
sunshine underground outta control here we go Chems played mostly proggy/breakbeaty/acidy stuff when I saw em in Feb, but pretty diverse stuff Fantastic when DJing, but live they're something else. Chems live is the best thing i've ever seen, truly awesome I booked hols for 10th July just before I found out they're at dig so gonna miss em
They tend to play a lot of there own stuff, which is definitely not a bad thing, and then just throw in bits from everywhere. Mostly break-beat and techno/electro kind of stuff. Its all good!! I saw them at the Gatecrasher millenium/don valley thing and I thought they were the best on the night. That was maybe because that it was one of my first dance nights (if not the first) and they were the only people to play anything I recognised!! Saw them play live at Glastonbury too and I reckon that was the perfect place to see them. The Sunshine Underground always just reminds me of that weekend and I'm sure I read somewhere that they actually worte it with Glastonbury in mind. Can't believe I'm not going this year again!!
youre not wrong mate, they were awesome live saw them at sheffield octagon, and bugged outs james holroyd played after they had finished
i met tom n ed at sankeys in feb, said they weren't doing any more dj gigs and no live gigs this year cos they're in the studio, but wait til you hear their new stuff
Probs say more of a trance head, at the min looking for stuff like whats on Lee Fosters Zentith 7. Track 6 & 7 for instance, something with a bit pace. mmm...track 7! Or stuff like Ferry Corstens remix of Universal Nation, Armin -Communication etc. Nothing that could be classed as 'slow' or 'boring' trance...
"Hard Dance" *shudders* Hate that term!!! Hard House all the way. Can listen to trance if I'm at home or at an after party, but don't like clubbing to it. Will if I have to, but much prefer HH clubs.
