    What are you talking about?

I go off trance so I have to get a life? Sorry mate I think I wasted a lot of my life, for the past 4 years I basically done fuck all, I had a great time don't get me wrong - but I gave up really good jobs, holidays, etc. to go clubbing - every fucking weekend.... Most people would tell you I was someone who needed to get a life.

I still go out, but I haven't been to sundis in about a year - the only trance club I go to is promise and thats no longer for the music (except the always room).

People move on - nobody (bar tranceydj) goes clubbing forever.

It has fuck all to do with getting a life.

if you are tiringof it cool , like i said so what
i don,t think anyone really cares

who cares? obviously a whole lotta people cos this is one of the biggest threads in a long time.

Your the only person who's reacted like this, I posted on here because:

    a. A large number of this board are my mates... a lot of them have been clubbing about the same time as me.
    b. I'm hardly going to post it on rock n roll messageboard as non of them like trance to start with.

Theres many formulas to a good life and for me I don't think any of them involve sundis or crasher (however moderatly I do them).

I only go clubbin 2/3 times a month because im restricted by work + uni... and its the highlight of my month, its something that is totally away from my mates that I live with and go to uni with, for me its something removed + very different from what I do the rest of the time.. and to be honest i still fucking love it.

I reckon this is the reason for all the "house/trance is dead" negativity around at the moment.. people who started clubbing around 96 -97 and have been going out every weekend since have strarted to get tired of it and stay away... far too much of a good thing.

I know a lot of people in a very similar situation to you + its always the same comments...

at least u can see that somethins not right anymore, I'd rather be like that than some of the pathetic wrecks I know who keep doin the same tired routine they've been doing for the last fuck knows how many years with absoloutley nothing to show for it and will prob never having anything to show in the fututre cos they're braindead and have no direction...

    if that makes sense :)

Complete sense, I'm going to sound patronising and uppity as fuck - but I feel sorry for some of my older mates who've been doing this for years and years - they're stuck in dead end jobs with nowt to show for themselves... Wonder what long term effects we'll see - cos few of my friends never done stuff in moderation.
