i was stuck on coach lane for three years with the only hottie being marissa, dont think i saw one nice boy on that campus in 3 goddamn years!! apart from when we used to get visitors of course !! couldnt believe it when i ventured over to the main campus in my 3rd year and saw all the fit boys that there were... mind you students were never my type of thing, most usually they were complete scrubbers and had the mental age of 6 year olds
I went back to Uni after I had been working in jobs and been travelling, so was a bit older than most the people on course. Made some decent mates, but only keep in touch with one of them now. Think if I had been a bit younger and moved away from home, I may have enjoyed it more. Still was ok. Better than working full time. Was a really good feeling to graduate with a decent result at the end of 3 years. Bit pissed that I still have not managed to get a decent graduate job since finishing last year though.....
definatley - im still at home, with ness and that, working part time, just doing what i usually do, not going 'mental' with a bunch of drunken losers pissing up my loan in blu bambu thats for damn sure. Im doing my course as I really enjoy it and it interests me, and on top of that, im getting a degree. Don't care who says what about mickey mouse degrees and all that - a degree is still better than no degree at all.
it's all about the life experience aswell at the learning bit. MOVE AWAY FROM HOME - makes a good uni life BETTER
thing is some of us are there for an education not to "take part in the experience". If you want an experience go on safari, move to iceland go skydiving.
the 'experience' means moving away from home, i.e. doing your own washing, cooking your own meals, managing your own time - cutting those saftey apron strings and going to a new city, new people - everything - not just going on the piss. some 20 odd year old still have their mums wash their clothes... best thing u can do age 18....
I agree with you. After staying home for my first degree, in hindsight I now REALLY wish I'd moved away. Although I still took my washing home for my mum to do over Christmas, and I'm 23
