    and your point is?

my reasons for/ for not eating fish and animals were about how they lived, not how they died.

So what if an animal is made to live in shit conditions, it's an animal, they're not wise enough to know what's going on anyway.

How do you know that? Have you been a chicken, cow, pig or sheep before?

I watched something on TV a while back about a chicken farm, the chickens were fed food to make them grown quickly, but their bones aren't always strong enough to cope with the fast, sudden weight gain - which results in a large proportion of the chickens being cabbages, sitting on the ammonia covered floor (to try to prevent disease) and can't lift themselves up to get to food and end up dying.

Do you think they're not wise enough to feel ammonia biting at their skin?

Look out for chickens with burns on their backside when you're shopping.:(

they can still feel pain oasis
why do you think it's smart to kill things? it's just schoolboy 'I'm dead hard me I don't care about anyones feelings I'll just do what I like' shit.
yes fish can feel pain too and if I was a perfect human being I would not inflict suffering on them too but I'm not perfect. milk, leather shoes, rennet in cheese are all animal products and it would be better not to use them but just cos you use some of them doesn't mean it is stupid to avoid eating cows or chicken or pigs if industrial farming methods disgust you.
and yes I'd eat any one of you if I was hungry enough.

If that's serious it's a pretty (common) warped view (although I don't think he was being fully serious), animals should not be judged by their size or lack of human emotions but their ability to experience life and the same reality that we do.

    hahahaha a said hahahahahahaha.

I think it's extremely smart of the human race that we kill animals for food yes. it's very schoolboyish antics, tell that to your and my ancestors who have relied on food from animals for millions of years.

and as for animals feeling pain, yep they do, but so do we and do you think a lion or tiger would stop to think whether we have feelings? Species do what they can to survive and that is how we are top of the food chain.

Well I don't want a skinny little chicken do I? I want a big fat one! and I'll be sure to check out the chickens backside when I'm shopping, I'll also be sure to give it a few more burns when I throw the little fella in my oven on gas mark 6.:)

yes but we don't have to rely on animals for food any more.
and since lions and tigers can eat us I think that puts them at the top of the food chain don't you.

Fork off! A tiny spider could kill someone but it doesn't make them top of the food chain. lmao

We don't have to rely on them but meat makes part of a healthy balanced diet. Animals were only put on earth by God for food for humans, dummy!

O a sist on my arse talks more sense
there is no god and we are also animals and vegetarians can have a perfectly healthy and balanced diet without meat and the top of the food chain is the one who eats others but doesn't get eaten itself. like a tiger.
