Theres only been one cancellation since it turned monthly hasn't there?

I agree that we have had a lot of cancelations, but since we have been at Digital we have billed 109 live acts and Dj sets,

out of that 109...... 9 have cancelled, that's 92% ish show up rate, which i wouldn't call bad but everyone is entitled to their own opinion,

yes it does depend on how you look at it, but the acts that have cancelled are:

The Glimmers (twice), Dave Clarke, Rex the Dog, Atomic Hooligan, Lee Coombs, John Dahlback, Roman Flugel, David Holmes,

so comparing them to the acts that have shown up like 2ManyDJs, Erol, Audio Bullys, Jeff Mills, Plump DJs, etc..... i wouldn't call the majority of them headliners,

but depends what your preferences are,

anyway, lets hope he does show up and everyone has a wicked night.

I wasn't at all I just think whats always said about wax on is really harsh considering I know how much effort is put into the night to try and please the crowds. I just feel like people are always quick to comment on the downfall of club nights and you were taking it offensively for some reason when I was doing this?

i've been to wax on loads of times and a dj has only cancelled once thats pretty good going i reckon.

lol - 109 billed acts... we've had precisely um er fuck knows how many billed acts on at freaky, I couldn't even work out exactly how many parties we'd done last time I tried... how long did it take you to add them all up?

Dave Clarke and The Stanton Warriors on the same bill is a class line up whichever way you look at it - I shall be in attendance, probably spending most of the night running between the 2 rooms

psst - last time stantons were meant to play for me at Subway they cancelled coz one of them had fucked up and booked a holiday flight the next day from london at 8am which there was no way of them making if they played their set up here, and he chose a beach in thailand (or somewhere like that) over a night in newcastle... doh:rolleyes:
