not every other player has been injured for the last 7 weeks. The lad is 20yrs old playing in his first world cup and is dying to make an impact for his COUNTRY.

as for spitting his dummy out for being subbed   , do you not think he knew he wouldn't last the full game ? before last night he had played 35mins of competetive football.

i'd rather see a player be annoyed and show emotion than a player not being bothered at all

Thats not really my point though mate, Rooney is well known for his tantrums and attitude on the pitch....thats what im getting at.

Like in the game against Trinidad & Tobago....he'd been on...what....30 seconds and he was being abusive to an opposing player!

I'd hate his attitude to be taken away from him. This debate has gone round loads of times. At the end of the day he had every right to be fucked off. He's a young lad that wants to play footie and smash the other team about - let him get on with it :king:

i thought England looked solid everywhere but defence. Shame we conceeded the last goal because we deserved to win.

Your having a laugh. Sweden threatened at every corner to score.

No wonder Beckham kept loosing his marker last night --->

He wasnt pissed off with being subbed in the way Mido was in the African nations. He shook Svens hand I dont think he disagreed with the decision of being taken off, he was just angry with his own performance.
