    hehe!! stop it!! :D ;)
just re-read ma post n fink it sounded as if i was bin a bit negative so hav edited it a lil bit to sound more positive!! didnt mean it as a slaggin off of the line-ups cos think they're eva so good but see what dave means about wanting mebbes the more "underground" (if ya can reeli call em that!!) trance dj's to play but with it only bin once a month theres only so much ya can fit in, im sure there'll be people like that next year but it must be dead hard to try n make the line-ups fit everyones taste, totally!! xxxx

To be fair the lineups may not be 100% trance but they are 100% PROMISE lineups.

    FRI 26TH SEPTEMBER 2003, 9pm - 4am
MAIN ROOM YOHAN GIELEN , EDDIE HALLIWELL, MATT HARDWICK, RICHARD TULIP & LEE FOSTER

THAT IS SUCH A GOOD LINEUP I MAY NOT GO TO FUNKISSENTIAL FOR MY BIRTHDAY BASH!!!!

    FRI 31ST OCTOBER 2003, 9pm - 4am
MAIN ROOM PROMISE vs GOODGREEF - MAURO PICOTTO, RICHARD TULIP, LEE FOSTER & SHAN

MAURO AS WE HAVE SEEN IN THREADS HATED BY SOME BUT LOVED BY MORE & THE GG NAME WILL BRING PEOPLE IN.

    FRI 28TH NOVEMBER 2003, 9pm - 4am
MAIN ROOM CORVIN DALEK , TOMCRAFT, JOHN KELLY, RICHARD TULIIP & LEE FOSTER

CORVIN THE MAN A LOT OF PROMISE REGS LOVE. JOHN KELLY ANOTHER 1 THAT PEOPLE LOVE OR HATE. TOMCRAFT IS SOMETHING NEW.

    FRI 26TH DECEMBER 2003, 9pm - 4am
MAIN ROOM JUDGE JULES , FERRY CORSTEN (tbc) , MATT HARDWICK, RICHARD TULIP & LEE FOSTER

ANOTHER GOOD LINEUP. THIS NIGHT WILL BE CHOCA!!

I would like to see a few up & comings but on them lineups it is very hard to see where you would put them.

Maybe Deaks should put on a 100% TRANCE NIGHT INSTEAD OF STUDIO 54?????

    I agree with dave and R U Tribal ?

Promise is a business - the likes of Jules / Kelly and so on make big ££ - thats good for the club !

I would like to see the likes of Hemstock / Goldenscan / Solar Stone etc etc but its the people that aint head of them which may make the night a flop !

Theres a hell of alot of talent out there to be had - there's plenty of up and coming DJ's that i know of off here too who could easy play a set @ Promise !

I agree i would love to see yhe up and coming djs get a chance ie goldenscan ect ......

I think it would be easy to get them on though but just slot them in with the big names after all the big names will one day wear out then where will we be??????

If it means opening till six o clock then so be it but deffo agree with dave m Trance could come rushing back if given the chance

Promise is Promise... It will never be GATECRASHER! As much as I love trance (Yes Dave, I still love it! ;)) I don't think having the nu-breed trance DJs on will help Promise.

I know where your coming from like Dave. I thought that with it going monthly it would let the lesser known trance djs play at the club with the well known ones being the pullers. It seems like people like Shan and Sheridan are getting them places because of the Promise/GG thing.

I am not knocking the line-ups though, because Mark is after all just trying to do the best for the club and he can't please everyone, all the time.

Im with Dave & Co on this thread. Lets get some proper trance.

But i thought Quality was for the :monkey: :monkey: and promise was for the trance heads.

If there is a 50/50 split in Promises lineups, that means overall the lineups please :monkey: :monkey: 3/4 of the time.

    got to say

ive got to like that i was expecting a more trancier bunch of dj to come like armin PVD or a younger breed of trance djs got say that i thought jon o bir was good last time he was on
i say bond and hardwick b2b thatl b good for the club
why dont they give some of the local djs a shot at playin we could have a nite like young guns one the fri that the club aint doing anything .

(havent read the whole thread yet)

the promise bookings are very average.
    the quality bookings are excellent.

the quality line-ups look like a who's who of hard dance/house
the promise line-ups look like a who was free that night.

not having a dig tho.. i'm sure it'll pull the punters..

yeah but its a lot more difficult to get the "who's who" of hard house which tends to consist of mainly british, easily accessible dj's rather than the likes of tiesto, PVD and armin who tend to be the main names in trance who are hard as fuck to book n charge a friggin fortune!! xxx

    i

It is bloody bid achievment to get yoji back cos hes british he dont play that many gigs in this country it is one of the only places he will play in this country twice slinky he has but differnt venues. nuff him for now do i am also delighted to have glazas at promise as he is fantastic cant wait for magna 7 to see him and i wana see amber d aswell c what the crack is like.

If the rumour that tiesto cost some where in the region of 13000 i know what i would say to him and it aint pleasent dont get me wrong i think he is awsome was class at trees and the shack this year but what could you get for that price they must be other high quality trance dj apart from the 3 (armin, tiesto Van dyk) you can book for less than a quarter of that id like to see these if was possible
    *Nu NRG Live* PLEASE
    Pulser
    Marco V
    Jon O Bir
    Montana
    Kai Tracid
    DERB

just thew that i like just my opinion
I think the night with tidy will be really beneficheal to the quality good one mark looking good and if it gets better next year where in for a treat

aw god yeah i wasnt saying that it wasnt an achievement to get yoji to play i was just sayin that its a lot more difficult in general to pull the big names in trance on in a regular basis than maybe's it is with some of the hard house names thats all... :) xxx
