What happened to Richard Tulip & Promise!?

it's like Promise - but in digital.

it ain't foundation - BUT it's been good the ones i've been to. not too many scrotes and good music. there's not much room for meeting new people, as you would do at foundation - but the atmosphere is good

i take it your new to the local scene!
imo promise was better than evolve, probably just the venue really. foundation had a better feel but evolve is still a really good night!

As for Richard Tulip, Simon Patterson seems to know what has happened to him.

we get the feeling he didn't want to be on first (8pm) when it opened so proudy and static were on warmup, so he played psy trance 10 > 11 till gavyn mitchell was on who should have been on earlier. lots of good DJs, none for the warm up

I take it we won't see Simon patterson gracing evolve line-ups then!

I personally think Richard Tulips at his best whilst doing the warm up, i've still to this day never heard any DJ play a better, darker ot harder progg set yet. Especially when Promise! was at the awesome foundation, the atmosphere he created in there was electric.

I thought they were called deep and dirty or something?

not seen tulip for a while, but heard him at the last few promises banging out horrid driving/tech trance.

he was class when he used to do the prog warm ups and thats the thing that stops me from going to many trance nights these days, theres never a warm up!

cant be arsed going into a club at ten o clock and hearing tunes that would be better suited to 4-6 am!

he's been doing 2 hour prog-trance warmups at all the evolves so far

I don't like warm ups that are too long. I get bored and then can't get into it later on.
