it's like Promise - but in digital.

Last week : Ferry, Hardwick, Tulip
    b4 that : Marco V, RVG, tulip
b4 that : Lashes, Marcel Woods, Tulip

it ain't foundation - BUT it's been good the ones i've been to. not too many scrotes and good music. there's not much room for meeting new people, as you would do at foundation - but the atmosphere is good

Don't forget Junior G too @ cosmic ballrooms

How can you not have heard of it?

They just had Richard Tulip, Ferry Corsen and Matt Hardwick on last weekend, it was just like promise but in a different venue.

i take it your new to the local scene!
imo promise was better than evolve, probably just the venue really. foundation had a better feel but evolve is still a really good night!

As for Richard Tulip, Simon Patterson seems to know what has happened to him.

"The guy before was playin psy trance at 197bpm? at 11pm?"

..on Simon Patterson's website commenting on how he felt sorry for Gav Mytchel before he played at Promise NYD.

we get the feeling he didn't want to be on first (8pm) when it opened so proudy and static were on warmup, so he played psy trance 10 > 11 till gavyn mitchell was on who should have been on earlier. lots of good DJs, none for the warm up

I personally think Richard Tulips at his best whilst doing the warm up, i've still to this day never heard any DJ play a better, darker ot harder progg set yet. Especially when Promise! was at the awesome foundation, the atmosphere he created in there was electric.

Richard Tulip - Warm Up Set's

He just has a truley aswesome collection of very heavy, techy progg tune's that immediately start the night off with a bang. I would love to know where the hell he get's his tunes from:secret:

Re: Richard Tulip - Warm Up Set's

not seen tulip for a while, but heard him at the last few promises banging out horrid driving/tech trance.

he was class when he used to do the prog warm ups and thats the thing that stops me from going to many trance nights these days, theres never a warm up!

cant be arsed going into a club at ten o clock and hearing tunes that would be better suited to 4-6 am!

I don't like warm ups that are too long. I get bored and then can't get into it later on.
