    I learned.....

    1. That it was worth going to nights other than Trance ones :)

    2. That UK DJ's are the best in the world and....

    3. I have yet to learn the art of being hammered and NOT pulling the most horrific poses in front of camera's.

    :)

    2. Meeting some great people (inc some of you guys!) :)

    3. The fortnightly ritual of go out, get fucked to class tunes and top dj's, crash out :king:

1.) every last second of lawlers finishing set on the terrace in space.

2.) lawler playing mory kante - yeke yeke @ GG. his set made the rest of the almost unbearable experience totally worthwhile.

3.) digweed @ bedrock, finishing with coldplay - clocks, bedrock - heaven scent, & grace - it's not over yet. :D

That would be back in October... if memory serves me right, Lab4, Mark Maitland, Nick Sentience and Mark Maitland (amongst others) were playing. It was my first foray into the world of HH, and i've never looked back. I'm 26 now, and all my life i've ended up at clubs like, dare i say it, Baja and the Boat, shite clubs full of pissheads and chavas.

Then my mate and his missus from work brought me along one night, and opened my eyes. The music, the ppl, the atmosphere is second to none, i just think, 'what the hell have i been missing out on?!' (wipes tear from cheek)

I may sound as tho i'm going on a bit (i've been drinkin), but it's turned my year round no end. Roll on 2004, beginnin with NYD on the boat! Even splashed out on some cyber gear!:cyber: :p

Lab4 was when I lost me hh cherry too! Always liked trance but clubbing this year has really opened my eyes to other related genres like hard house, techno and funky house. Lab4 blew me away, haven't looked back since then! :D

We all do it, only way for the species to multiply...

Very true. Its cliched, but you can talk to most people in promise and other similar nights and get on like a house on fire! People say its drugs involved and maybe that helps some people but I would argue that there is definately some kind of community that interacts and comes together regardless of drink and drugs. Through promise I have met some great people and i'm sure there are more to come. :cool2: :D

1 Going to my first festival, homelands, why did it take take so long to pop that cherry??

2 Managing to see deep dish at shindig this year, one of their fave clubs and if it's like that everytime, i know exactly why!

3 realising liverpool has one of the best clubbing scenes in the country. chibuku, circus, cookie dough, aztec, hustle.... the list goes on.

was a top year clubbing wise for moi!
