thats about as thought out an answer as saying the current tax system and economy in the uk has nothing to do with gordon brown

if less people go out who are members of the board there are less shenanigans to talk about

all i see on this board at present are mates of mates of mates constantly bumming each others nights

however, people have moved over a lot to facebook, I will give you that

stephen laughing is so ironic, there mustnt be a boar member on here who goes out clubbing less than he does

I gave you 3 valid answers though didn’t I? How can people not going out anymore affect people speaking on a message board about 'life in and around Newcastle'? Id agree with you if you were only discussing the events forum but how did me not going to Kiss Da Funk on Friday stop people talking on here? The board isn’t solely clubbing related

the board evolved from clubbing, it is the main stay of the board

no clubbing - there would be no board or so little traffic that there would be no point to it.

there are a huge swathe of people who only surf this board and when they post lament about times gone by

the fact that so many sit there and watch without posting means they have nowt valid to say or dont contribute cos they aint been up to much (ie not going out etc) or think the place is inhabited by cretins

or all of the above

no one said your other answers wern't valid ones - but the fact that you think less people going out wont equate to less people coming on here is utter rubbish - if i gave up clubbing all together the only reason I would ever come on here is to entertain myself with some of the rucks that happen - cos some of them have been tuely legendary

really...since the demise of promise (and let's face it this is really just promise board version 2) - this place is pretty much like a ghost town

and the what's on / events section has just become an bumping threads section and let's see how many of our mates can bum us section where nites from outside newcastle often get slated and local 'cool' nights get bummed to infinity

how come youve got such a chip on your shoulder about nights being 'cool'? ever thought they might just be class nights out and thats why eveyones 'bumming' them

I totally agree, lets not forget that Detox gets "bummed" also by the people who go to it so why can't other nights?
