    For once I agree hold heartedly with Technofish...

    Just like promiser wouldn't stay alive if they had corvin on every ngiht I don't think they'd survive with halliwell every night... I think once every so often just makes them even more special and memoriable..

    I think its the variety that makes promise what it is...

    Smart E and Technofish as spot on really - when theres a DJ like Van Dyk or Picottto ya gonna get a load of peeps goin to the club just to hear "Were Alive - For An Angel" and "Lizard - Pulsar" by the named above, that may sound daft but then again every club is gonna have peeps who just go coz its the "in thing" - i would never class myself as a Promise regular coz i can never afford to go every week but i do know my DJ's in a way that i wouldnt go out next time the likes of Seb Fontaine or Parks n Wilson are on - the variation in the clubs quality giving those that like Prog/Trance/Techno to go when they want - the best nights ive had in there have been Van Dyk - Hardwick (Fri just gone) - Scott Bond x 2 - Halliwell - sure theres more like, but the clubs just got better and better and the way forward is what where its goin !

    promise was it it's best in my musical oppinion bout 2 years ago, still goof fun to this day though. It brings back my GC memories from a while back :monkey: :D

    i said trance but i seen hardwick and halliwell play several times and aint been impressed just seemed vsamey...

    ive had some totally amazin nights at promise! seeing different dj's!

    but i cant poll until armin has played!

    but im gonna have to say Mr. Hardwick, about two weeks ago (totally consistant&never fails) and when Halliwell played his first set!

    This thread crept back up suddenly now didn't it!:eek:
    I voted pure Trance as on these nights I've had some of me best @ promise!
    But...I still do like the night to finish that little bit harder so suppose a lil mixture of both is in order!:D
