    Soon to be going to the Caribbean :wub: I'd love to visit the great China wall and then on to Tibet :D But its pretty pricey :( Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bali and Antigua are on my hit list too :p

    have seen parts of the great wall of china...it's huge & you wonder why it wiggles & weaves so much...would've been easier to build it in straight lines but they didn't! :lol: :think:

    really we must all have come from quite well off families to have gone to all these class places.
    how disappointed some of the parents must have been when their darling son/daughter when down the road of being a pill head :(

    Awesome stuff! Would loved to have done that but bought loads of debt instead :( My friend and cousin did it and was best thing ever. My friend is off again soon, lucky sod :(

    All in one trip? :eek: Should be good.

    When did that happen? :spangled: When we went it was implied that they were not part of China. Im probs mixed up tho :(

    Britain handed Hong Kong back to China in 1997, before that - it was an island we got from China 99 years before that on a temporary lease ....

    ... Right now its owned by China, but its governed as a separate system to china - so they are all the same country right now but there are still borders between the mainland and hongkong and the people of hong kong are still a bit worried that china might ruin their extremely rich region.

    History lesson there :)
