which countries have you visited?

    the island was ours forever, the new terriotries on the mainland where on a 99 year lease, but one was unsustainable without the other, in terms of resources imported to the island, so thatcher let the crazy * bastards have the whole thing back... just to be pedantic ;) :lol:

    how come you went to maccau? bit far just to play on the slots init! :p

    I would have been more worried if you had'nt have picked me up on that one Scruf ;) But im sure my paraphrased version got the general jist of it across :)

    Yeah i went too see the portugese influence - it felt like i was in the med when we were over there, which was quite interesting since we were right in the middle of asia.

    Unfortunately the place (and the casinos) were only interesting for about an afternoon - but we went there to stay in a 2 pound a night hostel for a few days to save some money ..... never been so bored in my life. Theres bugger all there aside from places for Hong Kongers to gamble.

    I wish! would save a lot of money and time.. the Ruhr Valley for Uni, Russia with eyeball.. but looking more like Budapest or Geneva now.. then to a friends villa on the Algarve for some well earned respite from uni!

    Might go back to the states for a few months in the summer too, anything that puts off getting a career :D

    no never been, I've got an interest in colonialism and its one of those weird little enclaves thats alway fascinated me.. like Walvis Bay in Namibia... the mysiticism has been well and truly shattered now though :lol:
