well, can i just say that i think everyone has a range of dj's they like for each style or genre they want to listen to.

It all depends on your mood really i think, and the club.
I mean we all like pretty much the same dj's, even if they play something different - because lets face it we all enjoy something other than our beloved proggy and hard trance.
I can enjoy a good session listening to some funky house if im in the right mood... i can list a whole bunch of dj's i can enjoy listening to, but its like some dj will come on the radio and play progressive tunes or funky tunes say in the car. Now you either turn it off cos you cant be arsed to listen to it or you will leave it on because its easier to listen to in a car rather than in a club. It works both ways. There is a time and a place for a certain style of dance music. It all depends on how your feeling!!!

.........and on that note, im feeling a bit stressed with work so im gonna listen to my chill out cd when i get in tonite.

I would miss John Digweed immensley because he is the best mixer by far of any of the D.J's out there and he gets it absolutely rocking without it becoming obvious.

Sasha would be close second but he's gone off the boil a bit lately.

The world can do without hard house/trance heathens. Although I do not want to become too critical as everyone is entitled to listen to what they like but this style of music is worse than the shit on my shoes

Nick, u must be a Sasha and Diggers fan then? Long live the kings!!!! (cos there ain't anyone coming throgh that can replace them)

P.S - Hasn't anyone at Promise thought about Oakey? I'm sure he'd be right up your street

i am a fan of sasha and diggas yeah, thought the essential mix on sat was REALLY good. although i'm kinda in love with darren emerson and errick morillo's sound at the moment! really bouncy and feel good kinda stuff.

    ;) ;)

oh yeah, and oakey. i think just sbout everyone has suggested him but i reckon that's all it will be. he's got loads of commitments abroad.:( :(
